Coil Spring Front & Rear
Upgrade Your Motorhome with Reinforced Coil Springs
Many motorhomes come with standard springs that struggle to handle heavy loads, leading to issues over time. We recommend our reinforced coil springs, which are designed to replace the standard steel springs.
Benefits of Reinforced Coil Springs:
- Increased Vehicle Height: Raise your vehicle by several centimetres on the front axle for a more commanding presence on the road.
- Enhanced Handling: Optimized spring travel improves overall handling and comfort, providing a smoother ride.
- Better Impact Absorption: Effectively compensates for potholes and bumps, protecting sensitive interior furnishings.
- Increased Payload Capacity: Ideal for motorhomes and commercial vehicles near their weight limits, reinforced springs can help increase payload capacity
Key Requirements: To ensure proper installation, a load assessment is necessary to confirm compatibility with your vehicle type, along with a suitable load-bearing wheel-tire combination.
Enhance your motorhome’s stability and comfort with our reinforced coil springs!
Innovative Solutions for Mercedes Sprinter and VW Crafter
Motorhomes and vans vary not just in design, but also in their technical setup. While most vehicles feature coil springs on the front axle, Mercedes equipped its Sprinter NCV3 series with a transverse leaf spring. In the past, reinforcing this component seldom delivered the desired results. To address this, we offer an innovative solution for both the Sprinter and its counterpart, the VW Crafter. Our system adds a coil spring above the standard shock absorber to support the transverse leaf spring, raising the front end by several centimeters. This upgrade greatly enhances ride comfort, reduces body roll, and improves overall handling.
For those looking to maximize the performance of their Mercedes Sprinter or VW Crafter, we recommend complementing our front axle upgrade with either additional or full air suspension for the rear axle. Additionally, our spacers enable you to increase the track width of certain vehicle models by 60 mm.

Additional Coil Springs – Maintenance-Free Support for Rear-Heavy Motorhomes and Commercial Vehicles
Coil springs are a classic and reliable suspension system, now commonly found in most car and van chassis. While cars typically rely on coil springs for all four wheels to absorb road bumps, vans usually have them only on the front axle, with leaf or torsion bar springs supporting the rear. However, manufacturers design their chassis primarily for standard use, not for the added weight of a motorhome or commercial vehicle. As a result, the original springs can become overloaded, especially at the rear axle. This extra load causes the standard springs to sag, compromising both comfort and safety.
Our additional coil springs provide a practical, maintenance-free solution to these challenges, ensuring that rear-heavy vehicles maintain their performance and safety standards.
Innovative Solutions for Heavy-Duty Challenges
For vehicles facing high rear axle loads, we offer coil springs as an alternative to our leaf springs. These additional coil springs are ideal for vans and motorhomes with heavily loaded rear axles. When installed alongside the rear leaf-spring axle, they lift the sagging rear, enhance comfort, and reduce sensitivity to crosswinds—particularly important for vehicles with a high centre of gravity that can be affected by poor driving dynamics.
Our maintenance-free coil springs are available for many popular motorhome and transporter models. They are typically mounted on the rear axle, either next to or directly on the standard leaf springs, providing active support to the original suspension system. Additionally, if your vehicle’s payload capacity is insufficient, we highly recommend a load upgrade. With the help of our coil springs, it’s possible to increase axle loads and the permissible total weight for many motorhome and transporter chassis.
