This low-profile motorhome excels with its powerful drivetrain, off-road capability and bold, commanding appearance. The all-wheel-drive Globebus Performance 4×4 is the perfect travel companion for camping enthusiasts who occasionally venture off the beaten track or tackle snowy inclines, and who value self-sufficiency.

Dethleffs has opened a new chapter in its history at the Caravan Salon 2024 in Düsseldorf. For the first time, the leisure vehicle manufacturer based in Isny in Germany’s Allgäu region added an all-wheel-drive motorhome to its line-up. The production-ready prototype of the low-profile Globebus Performance 4×4 was on display at the show and from this point on, the production version of Dethleffs’ first ever all-wheel-drive motorhome could also be ordered.

With a 163 hp (120 kW) engine, differential lock, 8-speed automatic gearbox, raised suspension and a reinforced front axle rated at 2,100 kilograms, this all-wheel-drive motorhome has the off-road prowess needed to tackle unpaved roads and bumpy campsites without breaking a sweat. The air suspension on the rear axle ensures a smooth and comfortable ride at all times.

The living room in the Globebus Performance 4×4, which measures 685 centimetres in length and 220 centimetres in width, is equipped with high-end features that ensure a luxurious camping experience. The 70 centimetre-wide habitation door, complete with a coupé entrance and an extendable step, offers easy access to the living room. Plenty of natural light floods the interior through the window in the T-hood.

Your advantages at a glance
- Cosy and spacious: half-dinette seating lounge with 50 cm-wide swivel table. The backrest offers maximum travelling comfort. The fabric wall panelling is sound-absorbent and breathable, creating a pleasant atmosphere inside the vehicle.
- The kitchen features a variety of shelves as well as a fixed tap. The large handleless drawers can accommodate all kinds of kitchen utensils and are equipped with a central locking system.
- Two comfortable single beds (left: 2.02 m x 0.8 m, right: 1.92 m x 0.75 m), each with a wooden slatted bed frame and a 15 cm-thick EvoPore mattress, ensure exceptional comfort while sleeping.
- The 32″ screen can be pulled out towards using a telescopic mount. The standard 5G WLAN router from Campernet ensures fast and secure data transmission.
